ABOUT JESSICA
BIOGRAPHY
Jessica is a Unit Stills Photographer based in Norfolk & London. With nearly 20 years of photography experience she graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Photography from Norwich University of the Arts, where she was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Commendation.
Her journey began in live music and events, photographing high-profile artists in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Those early years taught her how to move instinctively, adapt to unpredictable situations, and catch fleeting moments of emotion, skills that now underpin her work in film and television.
In recent years, Jessica has built a strong reputation in the screen industries, working on features, shorts, and television shows with leading names including the BBC, Sister, Sky, Film4, Studio Soho, and the BFI. She has also collaborated with local film crews, recognising the importance of grassroots filmmaking and the vital role it plays in shaping the wider industry.
Alongside her on-set work, Jessica covers screen events, red carpets, and film festivals, bringing the same cinematic eye to live environments as she does to the set. Her stills are celebrated for their emotional pull and narrative depth, making them both visually striking and central to the storytelling and promotion of a production.
Jessica is also deeply committed to inclusive filmmaking. As a neurodivergent photographer, she is a proud advocate for the DDN community (Disabled, D/deaf, and Neurodivergent), working to raise awareness, improve access, and push for real change across the industry. Her advocacy is rooted in lived experience and a determination to ensure that underrepresented voices are not just present, but celebrated.
This passion for representation led her to create The Stills Sisters Collective, a thriving community of women and non-binary stills photographers. Through this platform, she provides a space for connection, mentorship, and opportunity-sharing, while actively collaborating with production houses, publicists, and broadcasters to help more women secure work in an industry that still lacks balance.

When she’s not behind the camera, Jessica can usually be found exploring the outdoors, planning her next travel adventure, or losing herself in music and festivals. These moments of escape fuel the emotional depth of her work and keep her connected to the same sense of story and atmosphere she strives to bring into her photography.
Jessica’s goal is simple but powerful: to create imagery that not only documents a production but elevates it, capturing moments that resonate long after the cameras stop rolling. She brings heart, creativity, and grit to every frame, and is passionate about using her skills to open doors for others, ensuring the next generation of stills photographers have the support and visibility they deserve.

"Jessica is an immensely talented still photographer and a delight to work with. Despite a fast-paced schedule and multiple locations, she remained professional, unobtrusive, and delivered outstanding photographs. Quite frankly, she was a dream to work with!”
– Jo Sargeant, Hot Coals Productions
“You’ve done a fantastic job in a really confined space – these shots are just lovely and exactly what we had envisaged in terms of tone, framing, and lighting. Terrific work, thank you!”
– Alex Wells, Sister
